Happy Canada Day!

Ethan and I went to Trafalgar Square on Friday to celebrate his Canadian side! He wore his Huskies shirt from Uncle George and Carlee (thanks!)(and thanks to Kristen too who got Ethan a bigger one as well).
Crawling around Trafalgar Square with Edie.
Proud to be Canadian! Ethan loved waving his flag...well at least until he realised it was more fun to eat it!

Hi Ethan ... hope you enjoyed Canada Day at Trafalgar ... your first and at age ONE. Grandma hosted a conference of 18 poeple from across Canada over the Cda Day weekend. We held a welcome evening BBQ at our home on our new deck on Friday evening. Then on Saturday, the group had meetings all day, and in the evening we had a FirstBus school bus pick the group up from their hotel and all went to a dinner theatre for the evening. We waited outside the theatre for the bus to return and were eaten by mosquitoes - pesky little buggers. Sunday was crash day to recover from the conference (at least for Grandma). That was our Canada Day Weekend. One day we will celebrate together with a great day in the park, hot dogs, lemonade, bands and sunshine. Lots of love to you Ethan. Grandpa Rod.
